Ok...I don't know you, but I stumbled across your LJ entry and want to tell you that I admire your faith.
You may feel confused and you may be doubting. But remember, true faith is believing through the doubts. "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1
God's grace is truly amazing. We don't deserve it at all, but He gives it freely. There is nothing we can do to be good enough, and that's why we doubt. We're not perfect and the thought of a perfect God loving us is difficult to understand. But by faith we do. By faith we believe, and by faith we are saved.
Keep studying and keep learning what God has for you...I am sure that it is something greater than you have ever imagined. Don't let others discourage. You know where your heart is and more importantly, God knows.
