"It's so hard to find my way..."
Sep. 12th, 2003 11:16 pmFirst visit home in three weeks. :)
It's been nice. Julie, Tom, Gina, and I all crammed into Julie's car with the windows rolled down and blasted a mix CD Shay made for Julie, in which the first song was "Where is the Love?" by Black Eyed Peas, followed by other songs: The Verve Pipe "We Were Only Freshmen," Mandy Moore (that song at the end of "A Walk to Remember"), Natalie Imbruglia "Torn," Cindy Lauper "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," and others. Shay and Hope followed us 'cause Shay had all of mine and Gina's stuff in her trunk and Hope was going to stay with Shay 'cause Shay lives near the rest of us but Hope lives all the way in Illinois and couldn't go home and didn't want to be alone for the weekend since Shay is her roommate and everyone else seemed to be going home for the weekend.
Julie dropped Gina and I off where our designated places were and my parents took Gina to where she needed to be and then my parents and I went our way. We ate and then stopped by Barnes & Noble and Best Buy! I was so excited.
Then I got to see my CAT! And he wanted to see ME! "Shadow my LOOOOOVE!!!"
I had three CDs waiting for me! Cool Hand Luke "I Fought Against Myself," Copeland "Beneath the Medicine Tree," and Noise Ratchet "Till We Have Faces."
I also got an Indie Vision Music pin!
Mom and I are spending the day together tomorrow.
I miss Jared. We're going to get married one day.
Dude...I'm leading our devotional thing on campus on Wednesday nights next Wednesday. I am SO scared. I'm a FRESHMAN. I don't know why I chose to do it. I mean I felt God leading me to do it the first time I went to this thing, 'cause I have a LOT to say, but a week later and I'm getting cold feet. I'm talking about grace and I am going to be quoting from "The Ragamuffin Gospel," by Brennan Manning. I am incredibly nervous. If you want to, please pray that I do well. Thanks. :)
