Nov. 26th, 2003 11:57 pmDude guys, I was just in a wreck. My brother was driving the family to our destination, because he has his Learner's and Dad let him drive.
He went off the road a little, then jerked the car to the left and we went into the other lane, then he jerked it back to the right lane and we went off the road again, then he jerked it back to the left and we went off the road and onto the median and then into the opposite lane of traffic until my brother regained control of the car and hit the brakes on the median.
I was so scared, and I'm still a little shaken up. We were about an hour and a half from my aunt and uncle's house. We turned around and drove all the way back because we weren't sure our car was going to work right. The license plate is all bent up and the front of our car looks pretty bad. The engine started smoking when my brother finally stopped and he thought it was going to catch on fire and his door wouldn't open so we got out of the car and I was crying and then the people behind us called the police and he came and talked to us a while. I was so scared. I've never been in a wreck before. Good thing there were no cars in the lane beside us OR in the opposite lane, or we could've been dead. I was SO scared. My brother doesn't even remember what happened and my parents remember little of it. I remember everything. *shiver*
We're going to leave tomorrow, instead, and take our other car.
God was certainly looking out for us. We could have died, dude. I'm so glad God let us be okay. Thanks, Jesus.
