Ugh. There is no worse thing than not understanding the ending of a book.

Grrr! If the author would just SAY IT LIKE IT IS instead of over-doing all this sophisticated language and making the reader read between the lines (which I am not very good at)!!!

Ugh. Don't get me wrong. The writing style was nice; it was set in the Victorian age, but I sometimes hate it when writers have to use a "big word" every other word. I mean, 1 per sentence is enough for me. I don't need "The cultural abdications of the prenuptial being had indeed henceforth groveled at the lack of sangfroid evident in the child's but pretentious brouhaha of the exacerbated expression."

Gah. I'm going to make Jared read this book...he might understand it and therefore be able to tell me what happened in the end. :)
