Gah. I'm in a bad mood. My computer is as slow as crap, it's P.M.S. time, Jared wasn't home when I called, my mom gets on my nerves, and Nathanael has the computer EVERY NIGHT until 12:30...and by that time, I'm too tired to get on! And if I DO get on, I only get THIRTY minutes to talk to Jared online 'cause he gets kicked off at 12 HIS time every night. And we can't afford phone cards all the time! So that only leaves us weekends to talk on the phone. And dad only gives me one hour a MONTH to talk to Jared (without a phone card, that is).

And I think it's stupid to complain that American is a gluttonous, obese nation. I mean, think about it, if all these other countries had all this food with this much availability, they'd be gluttonous too! Psh. It just bugs me sometimes.

And did you know that fish is BAD for you? Yes! That's right! 'Cause of the mercury in the water! Too much canned tuna and salmon can result in a high mercury rate which therefore results in mental deterioration, depression, clumps of hair falling out, etc.! And we're just finding this out NOW?! What the-? This is BIG NEWS! I mean, mental retardation? That's kinda serious...and we're just finding this out NOW? Shoot. They even said that a decrease in fish-eating can make people NOT NEED antidepressants!!! Psh! I just assume not CARE about what I eat. One day it's going to either be GOOD for me or BAD for me anyway! And I won't know until that day comes so why try to eat "right?"

And nobody knows how much exercise an individual needs! At first they said 15 minutes a day, then it was an hour a day, now it's 30 minutes. And being physically active and exercising are two different things. So how much is enough? THEY DON'T KNOW. NObody knows. It depends on the individual. So if it depends on the individual, WHY MAKE STUPID MAGAZINE ARTICLES OUT OF IT IF NOBODY KNOWS HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH?

(All this found out in Reader's Digest when I was waiting a freaking HOUR AND TEN MINUTES for my contacts appointment that was supposed to be at 2:30 and was delayed 'cause they're SLOW until 3:40!!!)

I got Built to Spill's "There's Nothing Wrong With Love" and Thrice's "Artist In The Ambulance" Thursday.

And my aunt's not very diplomatic. I showed her pictures of Jared and she and my grandmother both thought he was nice-looking...and in one of the pictures Jared is wearing my bandanna, which I let Emily (my cousin) wear when she, my brother, my dad, my uncle and I were at the car race. Well, she wore it home and showed her mom, and when my aunt Natalie saw that Jared was wearing it in the picture, she goes, "And my daughter had that thing on HER head?" I'm just like "HE DOESN'T HAVE LICE, NATALIE!!!" SHEESH. If I don't show them a tall, skinny, blonde guy they don't seem to all-the-way approve. That pisses me off. She HAS no teenagers. Emily is 11, Olivia is 8, and Samantha is 3. I can't wait to see what SHE does when HER daughters don't bring home Mr. Clean-Cut Pretty Boy. Psh. He's Spanish, not diseased...! Maybe I'm taking it too far...they both thought he was nice-looking, and my aunt commented on his smile. But still. That hurt my feelings. WHEN HE/IF HE MARRIES ME THEN THEY'LL SEE...!

Okay. I AM taking it too far. They thought he was nice-looking and liked his smile...but the "bandanna on his head and my daughter's head" comment pissed me off. Then again, I don't think it had anything to do with Jared; Emily, before I used her brush, asked me if I had lice...! Psh! Maybe it's a family thing. Obession with lice. Who knows.

And I'm a slow reader!

And I want more music!

And I need to stop complaining.

I'm back from my trip, as you can probably gather. And I am OVER half-way done with "A Prayer for Owen Meany," by John Irving. Next is "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand. We shall see.

Move-in day is in two weeks. Yikes.

I'm discontent. I really do think it's P.M.S.

Yeah.
